To make a trendy bold look work in smaller spaces, place a delicate floral or toile headboard against a striped wallpaper that utilises the same color scheme, the vertical stripe will add the illusion of height whilst providing an on-trend pattern clash.’
‘Additionally, by keeping the color scheme the same, this will avoid the space feeling too overwhelming,’ she continues, ‘To finish, top your bed with crisp white sheets and add a pair of bedside tables for a grounding symmetry that will truly allow your headboard to shine’
